Testimonial from Wagoner Investigation

by Northeast Oklahoma Research Society on May.07, 2009, under Testimonials

I am sending this testimony on my experience at the Wagoner house from a few weeks back when I, my husband, and my sister, went to sit in on an investigation. We joined a group already in progress on the first floor as they were doing EVP work. After a few minutes, I noticed a very cold spot on my right outer thigh and told Ashley, a member of NORS, this. The temperature reading on that spot was in the 60’s while the rest of me was in the 80’s. My husband, my sister, and I all had a few experiences like that during the last session, and we have no doubt that we experienced some paranormal activity there. We hope to go with NORS again to assist in their research because they are the real deal!

Military Testimonial

by Northeast Oklahoma Research Society on May.07, 2009, under Testimonials

After year of working at my location my co-workers and myself had numerous experiences that we often dis-regarded as normal settling of the building or wind or even animals. But eventually it became too much to ignore. Personnel did not want to stay in the building after hours or overnight.

I was extremely skeptical about inviting a paranormal research group into our location. I imagined the worst and reluctantly agreed to a fellow co-workers request to allow a group in to investigate. After checking out several groups in our area, we spoke with the co-founders of the Northeast Oklahoma Research Society. I liked the fact that “paranormal” or “ghost” was left out of their name. Upon speaking with Dustin and Shane I was pleasantly suprised to see that the group was made up of “normal People” it was nice to discuss the problems we were having with level headed people who are professionals in their normal careers. They explained their process as scientific and evidence driven investigations which was something i was glad to hear.

When they arrived at the location i was glad to see them using high tech equipment and they seemed extremely knowledgeable in the use of their equipment and techniques. I was glad to see normal everyday people doing this type of work. They were extremely professional and courteous to my staff and me. And offered the security of a confidentiality agreement.

They completed their investigation of the location and I was amazed at what they had caught on the audio equipment. they delivered a professional quality DVD of all the evidence they had found and took the time to explain what they had caught and how it was found. I was a true skeptic prior to meeting this group and now i can’t ignore the facts anymore. I was with them through the entire investigation and was amazed at the evidence because i was there when it was recorded and know that i did’nt hear what they caught on the audio. I was happy to let them show any evidence they collected as long as they did not reveal the location due to the sensitivity of the location being investigated.

They great thing is they not only helped us figure out what was going on at our location but they also helped us deal with the incidents. Since we have taken proactive the steps towards resolving the problem that were recommended by them, we have found that the activity has decreased significantly.

I would proudly recommend the Northeast Oklahoma Research Society to anyone having these types of problems. They are a true credit to their field.

Sincerely,

Lt. C…….

Testimonial from Wagoner County

by Northeast Oklahoma Research Society on May.07, 2009, under Testimonials

After several unexplainable happenings in my home, a friend referred me to NORS. My three daughters and myself live in a historical home, built in 1893. When doors would suddenly close or loud noises came from the upstairs I would make a reason for them. You know “old house, uneven floors…” I could always make a reason. But then things started happening that I couldn’t make a reason for or explain. The fireplace mantel piece suddenly flew off the mantel and landed several feet from the fireplace. Cell phones would malfunction, such as ringing when the phone was turned off or they would turn off completely while in use. My dog would refuse to come into the kitchen, she would cower down and finally would jump through the door. When she would come into the kitchen the hair would be standing up on her back.

Then one evening while cooking dinner, I noticed one of my daughters standing in the kitchen entry way watching me cook. I was asking her how her day went and when she didn’t reply I looked up and she was gone. I called her name and when she answered me, I realized she was on the other side of the house. I asked her where she went and she explained she hadn’t been in the kitchen at all that evening. I just laughed and told her I must be tired and thought I had seen her in the kitchen. A few evenings later, I noticed her standing in the doorway again. Although this time, I didn’t look directly at her, but continued to talk and ask questions. I could see a little girl about the age of 12 standing in the door way of the kitchen. She appeared to be wearing a long prairie style dress, cream in color and had light colored hair. When I did look up at her she was not there. The feeling I got from the little girl wasn’t anything scary, she seemed more curious about what I was doing.

Wanting to know the answers to all of the happenings in my house, I contacted NORS. After visiting with the lead investigator he offered to bring his team and check things out for me. He explained that they would come down, set up some video and audio equipment and see if they could explain what was going on. At first I was a little apprehensive about the whole thing, I didn’t know what to really expect. When the team arrived, they was all very professional, and very respectful of my home. They did their investigation and in a few days went over the findings with me. We’re planning a follow up investigation and I cant wait, the investigator has stayed in contact with me over the weeks and we are continuing to uncover more and more about my home and the findings.

Thank you NORS and all your hard work!!!!!

C.
