A personal description of a paranormal attack
by melanie on Nov.19, 2009, under Uncategorized
On November 7, 2009 myself and the other members of the NORS team had an investigation at a house . The homeowner contacted us in hopes of finding some answers as to what was happening inside her home, and to her family, as well as herself. She told us that the women in the home had experienced many different things, from hearing knocking on the inside walls of the house, to seeing shadows, even on one occasion the homeowner felt as if her chest was being pushed on.
We started our investigation around 10:00 pm when we first started the investigation it was like any other investigation. We had several people go into the house the first time, 2 in the living room, 1 in the hall/dining area, and 2 in the bedroom where shadows are seen. During the first groups investigation while an investigator was preforming an EVP session and getting unknown knocks from the inside wall like the homeowner had witnessed, he asked “Do you want all the women to come into the house?”, and heard a knock. The was when the first group thought it would be a good idea to switch groups and have only women in the house.
That was when things in the house started to get awkward. Once all of the women we in the house we split up, myself and 2 of the women who lived in the house were in the living room, an investigator was in the dining room/hall area, and another investigator and another female of the home were in the bedroom. We started doing an EVP session, and after about 15 minutes of silence we decided to switch positions in the house. I went into the bedroom along with the 2 other women who lived in the house, and our 2 other investigators, went into the living room, the other female who lived in the home did not want to stay in the house so she returned to the command center with the other team members. Once we were all comfortable and in position I asked Erica in the living room to start another EVP session. During the EVP session both two investigators heard a mans voice say “Yes.” There were no men in the house at the time this happened.
After they told me they both heard an audible “Yes”. I thought it would be a good idea to move all of the women into the living room because that is where the majority of the activity was happening. Once in the living room, I asked one of the girls who lived in the home to sit on the couch on the east wall next to Bridgit, and then I asked the homeowner to sit on the couch on the west wall next to Erica. I sat in a chair on the south side of the living room. Right when I sat in the chair I had my feet firmly on the ground, and it felt as if the chair was being pushed forward, I told the other investigators in the room with me, as well as the others at command center and they told me to let the chair rock, so I pulled my feet into the chair and crossed them, and the chair continued to rock on its own for about 5 minutes. (At this time it is about 1 in the morning)
I asked Erica to continue her EVP session. We were all contributing to the session, when we saw the motion light that was set up in the dinning room area go on and off. We continued with the session, and the lights kept going on and off as if someone were walking around in the dining area. That was when I felt hands on my knees, it did not feel painful, just as if someone had placed their hands on my knees, I told the other investigators. It lasted a few minutes, and went away.
While the motion lights continue to go off, I felt slight pressure in my chest. I asked the homeowner what it felt like when she was pushed on, and she told me that she didn’t really know, it just felt like pressure, and I let the other investigators know what I felt, and they continued with their investigation. After a few minutes I felt the hands on my knees again, only this time it had a little more force, it lasted maybe 10 seconds, then it moved to my shoulders, with a little more force than on my knees, that also lasted maybe 10 seconds. Immediately after that it felt like a hand was trying to rip my heart out, (I know it sounds cliche but it is the only way to describe it) and it hurt. It physically hurt me, but while it was happening I felt pain and sadness inside too. It lasted no more than a few seconds I’m sure, but it felt like it lasted forever. While it was grabbing my chest, I couldn’t breathe, and after I couldn’t catch my breath.
After that happened, and I was able to breathe again, I jumped up and told the command center that I was done with the investigation. I told them I did not want to be in there anymore, and we all left the living room and returned to the command center.
After my attack, the girls sat in the command center and the men of the group went into the house and to do one last investigation. While they were in the house, I was still shaking, and trying to catch my breath, and just trying to calm myself down. I have never experienced anything like that. I have felt some other things at investigations but I have never felt a physical attack like that.
I can not say whether or not what I experienced was a threat to our group, because I did not really feel threatened while I was being attacked. I felt more like someone or something just wanted us to know that they were there and capable of doing major things. I felt as if whatever was with us, did not have a problem with women, but had superiority over certain personalities.

Osage County Historical Home Preliminary Information
by Northeast Oklahoma Research Society on Nov.06, 2009, under Investigations
We recently began this investigation on the 92.1 The Beat live Halloween investigation. We found that the structure was built in 1863 and is the third oldest homestead in the state of Oklahoma. this house is reported to be haunted and most will not go in at night and even during the day. it is reportedly haunted by a Mrs. White.
The House itself was a stopping point for the stage coach lines in southern Osage County and in the 1800′s and was remolded in the early 1900′s to be a home. This location is well known by residents in the area and we look forward to a full investigation of this location. A short public investigation was conducted at the location for the 92.1 Halloween special with Nights Gone Wild’s JJ Mclovin. And while we were inside there was several encounter that could not be explained everything from lights turning on by themselves in response to questions to growls and loud banging and knocking and even a full shadow seen. we will post the evidence captured from this event soon.
In the meantime we will post the 92.1 the Beat’s Halloween special so you can hear a small sampling of what occurred at the location. This location will be investigated fully in the near future so stay tuned for more information on one of the most interesting cases that The Northeast Oklahoma Research Society has investigated

The Poncan Theater

We were able to work closely with our Friends from INsight Paranormal at this amazing location in Ponca City. We worked as a secondary unit to their excellent staff and was given a great oppurtunity to investigate on a small scale with them at the location.
We examined all of our evidence from this location and was unable to locate any evidence on the equipment that we did use. But as it is widely known that paranormal events do not happen on cue and are essentially unpredicatble. The Team from INsight was able to capture some high quality evidence from the location. The location was amazing and full of history and intrigue whihc always makes for a good investigation whether we found anything or not
We would like to extend a Thank you to the team from INsight for allowing us to work with them once again and look forward to investigating with them in the future
